Check Recovery

Receive the check amount owed to you.

When a bank returns a check because of non-sufficient funds, a closed account, a stopped payment or a note to “refer to maker,” we can step in to help you recover those funds.

The bad check can either be forwarded directly to our agency from your bank, or from you within 30 days of the return.

Upon receipt of the check(s), we’ll make the first contact with the writer of the check by phone within 24 hours, followed by a series of three letters within a sixty-day period. During this sixty-day letter service, if the check is paid, our fee is the posted return check fee of $25.00 paid by the check writer, and you receive 100% of the face value of the check.

If the check is not paid within the sixty-day letter service program, all unpaid accounts will go into direct collection at our standard rate.

To sign up for this program, there is a one-time set-up fee of $75.00.
